General Terms
of the Center for International Education and Careers (CIEC)
|
§1
|
The CIEC supports foreign students to apply to US universities that fit their individual needs.
|
|
§2
|
The application service consists of following separate services:
|
a.
|
A thorough counselling about study options in the USA
|
|
b.
|
design of a time plan for organizing all necessary documentation
|
|
c.
|
maximization of acceptance chances by analyzing and stressing the most important parts of the application
|
|
d.
|
Assistance with filling out all necessary forms
|
|
e.
|
counselling towards TOEFL, SAT, letters of recommendation, essays, interviews etc.
educational counselling with regard to one’s career plans, universities of interest and options to finance the educational stay
|
|
f.
|
determination all relevant certificates, grade reports, internship and work documentation
|
|
g.
|
suggestion of addresses of translators, insurance companies, transcript evaluation services
|
|

§3
|
The education counselling service ends with the enrolment of the client at a US or Canadian university if members of the CIEC have been in any contact with this university in order to support the client’s enrolment. The fee for this service is 2400 Euros.

| §4 |
A client can terminate the contract for personal reasons without the fee charged. A termination of the contract is not possible after the end of the education counselling service. The termination of the contract will be considered void if the client enrols at a US or Canadian university, which the members of the CIEC have been in contact with in order to support his application, within 30 months of the signing of this contract. |
| §5 |
The service described in §2 is available to the clients. The extent to which they use it does not affect the service fee charged. |
| §6 |
In case of controversy in the interpretation or application of the contents of this contract, the client and Sport-Scholarships.com agree to submit all litigation to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts of Muenster/Germany, with express resignation of any other court or jurisdiction that may be claimed, as well as of the laws in force therein. |
| §7 |
In case that any terms or conditions of this contract should be void, this does not entail that the complete terms and conditions are void. |
